Five Haiku

Circular walkway
Mind jumps froglike leaf to leaf
Settles to quiet.

Young doe in light mist
Contemplating her next move
How simple it is!

Bullfrogs in the night
Deeply proclaiming their love
How am I to sleep?

Snow mingles with mud
Greed looks like altruism
Fall leaves remain gold.

Standing in dark fog
Guessing direction from sound
A soul knows its way.
